Fall Lipsticks with Nieman Marcus and ShopStyle...

Today I'm excited to share with you guys some gorgeous Bobbi Brown lipsticks from one of my favorite department stores, Nieman Marcus. I've been a loyal Bobbi Brown customer since I was in high school. For all of my formal dances, I would call weeks before the dance just to make an appointment to have my makeup done at the Bobbi Brown makeup counter, and now five years later I'm still just as obsessed with her lipsticks as I was back then! This lipstick trio is perfect for fall, and I'm loving the Soft Rose color I'm wearing in these pictures. It's a sophisticated, brick red color that is sure to go with a lot of my fall wardrobe!

Nieman Marcus is one of my favorite places to shop for luxury goods and amazing beauty products. See the widget below to see what's currently saved in my Nieman Marcus shopping cart.

Cool Summer Nights with Lilly Pulitzer...

Top: Lilly Pulitzer c/o | Denim: 7FAM, similar distressed option under $60 | Pumps: J.Crew Factory | Bag: Lilly Pulitzer c/o | Sunnies: Madewell | Necklace: Kate Spade | Watch: Michael Kors | Bracelets: Alex and Ani, J.Crew Factory | Ring: Madewell | Lips: Lipstick - MAC Creme Cup, Lipgloss - NARS Turkish Delight

Now that summer is winding down and the nights are getting cooler, I gravitate towards lightweight sweaters and tunics to keep the chill away. I tend to get cold everywhere I go actually, especially at work! When looking for fall basics I typically go for neutrals and black options, but sometimes it's fun to mix it up with a bright print! Lilly Pulitzer is my go-to for colorful tops and dresses that are perfect for transitioning into cooler months. I love that all their prints are original and fresh, and they definitely give off that South Beach, tropical vibe! Every time I wear something Lilly I'm instantly in a great, lighthearted mood! :) I especially love that there's so many options for cooler weather, like their Elsa tops (what I'm wearing above) and their 3-quarter sleeve dresses.  For sizing, I got a medium in the tunic and probably could have gotten a small.

OK guys, I need your advice. I've been doing spin classes for almost a year but I took a break when I was crazy busy with work this month and now I'm not as motivated to get back into it. I definitely need to switch up my routine!! I've heard hot yoga is amazing but the classes here are only available during the work day (ugh). Any suggestions on your favorite fitness classes? I'd love to hear your suggestions :)

Natural...

Top: J.Crew, similar under $60 | Shorts: J.Crew Factory | Pumps: J.Crew Factory | Bag: Target (on sale!) | Sunnies: Ray-Ban | Watch: JORD c/o | Bracelets: Kate Spade, J.Crew Factory | Necklace: Kate Spade | Lipstick: MAC - Creme Cup

As a busy event coordinator, time is always of the essence. It's so important for me to be on schedule and have my timeline of events in order so my guests are enjoying themselves without any delay. My all-natural wood watch from JORD has stylishly helped me stay on time and keep my events running smoothly. All of their watches are made of wood, and the little details in the watch are made of the highest quality. I have always worn a watch on my wrist and this watch is quickly becoming a staple accessory!

To check out more amazing watches from JORD, be sure to check out their website. I especially love the turquoise face on the Cora watch. I am wearing the Fieldcrest in Maple.

Summer Nights in Boji...

My Look:

I'm amazed at how effortless off-the-shoulder tops can be! This top from Nordstrom is by far one of my favorite tops for summer. I've now worn it two days in a row and have gotten lots of compliments! At first glance, the lace looked like it might be a tad itchy, but once on it was very comfortable and flattering! I can't wait to wear it for 4th of July parties this week! For sizing, I ordered a Medium and it fits perfect!

OK my summer concert obsession has gotten a little out of control - I'm practically planning my weekends around the next few concerts by Lake Okoboji this summer! If you've ever visited Northwest Iowa in the summer, you've probably heard of Arnolds Park Amusement Park. It's a very historic amusement park right by the lake (it has a 125 year-old wooden roller coaster that will make you feel and look terrifying... #needingallthehairspray) and they also hold summer concerts every weekend! My family has gone to these concerts ever since I was a little girl... my first-ever concert was at Arnolds Park where I danced the night away to the country band Trick Pony (I was their biggest 8-year old fan for a solid year after that concert!). There are so many young families hanging out, but it's also great for 20-somethings like me and my friends, as there are lots of nightlife options just up the street for after the concerts! :) Summer is prime season for me and my friends to go to concerts and fun events, and Eventbrite is a great tool to search for local concerts and also to buy and sell tickets! To search for local concerts and events near you, check out their website, and also check out their guide for event planners (holla!!) to help promote your own fabulous event!

If you're a longtime reader of SI, you know that I'm a BIG fan of the Iowa Hawkeyes! I've been watching Hawkeye sports games since I can remember, and I rarely missed a football or basketball game during college at the University of Iowa. The Iowa football team is going to the TaxSlayer Bowl in Jacksonville, FL on January 2nd, and the weather will be warm. This t-shirt from Tailgate Iowa, along with a lightweight denim shirt on top, would be a great tailgating outfit if you're going to the game (I'm so jealous if you're one of the lucky few!).

Tailgate Iowa, a new Hawkeye apparel store based in Iowa City, has so much cute collegiate gear! I love all of their vintage-inspired t-shirts - they're so much more unique than the average run-of-the-mill college tees! And side note: the quality is superb! When I first got this shirt, I immediately put it on and noticed how soft it was! I actually had a semi-frantic moment in my apartment when I accidentally spilled hot coffee all over this t-shirt (and my couch.. oops!), but I washed it immediately and the coffee came out completely and it looks brand new! I took these pictures after my near-disaster and clearly this shirt looks bright white and gorgeous! News flash to mom's with college students - Tailgate Iowa gear will last the test of time!!

So I have a HUGE surprise: Tailgate Iowa has graciously offered 15% off in store AND online for all Stylin' Iowan readers!! Use code LIBBY online, and mention Stylin' Iowan Blog in store to receive your discount now - January 3rd! I'm LOVING this tee for me and this tee for the men in my life.

*Thank you Tailgate Iowa for sponsoring this post. All opinions are my own. Some exclusions may apply towards discount.

J'aime + Boat House Apparel

T-shirt: Boat House Apparel c/o | Skirt: ChicWish, similar here and here | Pumps: J.Crew Factory | Purse: BCBG | Earrings: Nadri | Bracelet: Mindy Mae's Market | Watch: Michael Kors | Sunnies: Ray-Ban, loving these (on sale!) | Lips: Estee Lauder - Beige

How adorable is this Boat House Apparel t-shirt?! First off, I love the saying: "J' aime Lake Okoboji" obviously because I live here, but mostly because Lake Okoboji holds so many cherished memories of Glaser family gatherings. Boat House Apparel is a casual-wear line founded in Okoboji, and they have the cutest pieces for all the women, men and littles on your holiday gift list. I'm obsessing over the "eat macaroons for breakfast" tee!! Plus their pieces are so easy to style in both casual and formal looks. I love pairing this tee with my formal midi skirt, but it looks equally as cute with skinny jeans and flats!

I can't believe we are less than 2 weeks away from Christmas! All of the hustle and bustle around the holidays can be stressful, but it's my favorite time of year and I look forward to the holidays each fall and winter. My favorite part of the holiday season is getting together with family on Christmas Eve and Christmas day. My entire family will get together after Christmas Eve mass and have a cocktail party. All of the cousins usually end up in my aunt and uncle's basement playing cards and catching up, and it's just so fun to have that night we can look forward to each year. On Christmas day, the entire family gets together again at my parents' house for a prime rib dinner, and you'll usually find us sitting around the dining room table for hours laughing and talking. The quality time I spend with family is something I appreciate more and more each year.

What's your favorite part of the holiday season? Thanks for reading!
