We're so excited to welcome Baby BOY Johnson literally any day now! I had planned to document my pregnancy by each trimester, however we're already at the end of my pregnancy and time apparently got away from me! Nate and I have been pretty busy setting up the nursery, taking classes and preparing for parenthood, so one binge-like post will have to suffice!

You can go anywhere and buy a t-shirt. I think any big box store, chain store in the mall, and locally-owned boutique in small-town America will have some sort of t-shirt that you can purchase and they'll tout that it's the "best basic".

Funky Zebras Try-On Haul + Discount

If you missed it last week, I did a try-on haul at one of my favorite stores, The Funky Zebras - Clive, on my Instagram. It was such a fun time and I enjoyed putting together so many cute and affordable looks that I think you'll love. My first blog post in 2019! Although it's a new year and we're all looking ahead to new goals and resolutions to better ourselves, I wanted to take a minute to reflect and pay homage to some of the best products I purchased in 2018! These are the items that I re-purchased multiple times, or I wore these items over and over again (I'm sure you could tell from my instagram, some of these I wore literally all.the.time!). As a blogger, I like to try new products and really only give a review unless I find something that I think should be in your holy grail. I started with makeup and skincare first before diving into my favorite clothing items... let's get started!

I hope you all had a marvelous Christmas with family and friends. I can't believe Christmas has already come and gone. And really, where did December go?! Between moving into a new place right before Christmas and then the holidays, this month seemed to fly by so fast! I know so many of you were also busy traveling to see family, finishing up finals or marking off your never ending to-do lists getting ready for the holidays. Christmas is the one time of year I truly look forward to all year long, and yet it seems to fly by so fast that I almost miss it!

Cyber Monday is here! Who's been up since 4am shopping?! Ha! Normally I get up a little earlier than usual to shop but this year since I stayed up late last night looking for all the right deals, I slept in! 

I've rounded up all my favorite sales going on and will be updating these throughout the day. Monday Deals - Work Dresses and Casual Items

Good Morning and happy Monday! How was your weekend? We spend this weekend in northwest Iowa celebrating an early Thanksgiving with Nate's family. It's always fun seeing his family, especially his young nephews and niece! I found out that winning a game of Connect-4 against 7-8 year olds is actually very difficult! I won maybe one game... looks like I need to brush up on my board game skills before Christmas in a few weeks! 

As we're gearing up for Black Friday this week, I'll put together a Black Friday guide that will help maneuver you through Black Friday and Cyber Monday so you can get the best deals. Do you shop in store on Black Friday or do you do most of your shopping online? I plan to have that up on Wednesday, but I'll still do Daily Deals each day to keep you posted on specific items that just went on sale or items that I think are a must-buy!

Saturday Deals - Cozy Finds on Sale

Happy Saturday from wintery northwest Iowa! We woke up to an ice storm this morning, and all the trees and plants look so pretty. Can't say the same for the roads though! Luckily for us, we don't have to go anywhere today so we're good to celebrate Thanksgiving early and watch big college football games today.

Friday Deals - Casual Outfit Inspiration All Under $100

Good Morning and Happy Friday! What are all your weekend plans? This weekend I'm headed up north to visit Nate's family for an early Thanksgiving celebration. We're keeping things casual, so I thought I'd put together some ideas for casual outfits, perfect for weekend plans or running errands. 

I've been looking for a suede moto jacket and my co-worker recommended this one. I love the deep teal color, and there are plenty of sizes and fits still available. I love that so many retailers are making tall and petite sizing more of a regular thing! Most of the time I wear regular sizing but at times I need a petite option, so I love it when stores carry different options to help with getting the right fit.

Wednesday Deals - Thanksgiving Outfit Ideas All on Sale

Thanksgiving is just around the corner and I'm starting to stock up on some comfy sweaters, jeans and leggings! What are your plans for thanksgiving? We're celebrating Thanksgiving with Nate's family in northwest Iowa this weekend and next weekend we'll be in Kansas City with my family. I can't wait! Since I'm eating two big meals, I've decided to find lots of oversized sweaters and stretchy jeans to make sure I'm still comfortable after eating :) This sweater is on sale and there's a few sizes left in this gorgeous maroon color! I also own these high-waisted jeans and they have a good amount of stretch in them and they're only $25!

Monday Deals - New Inventory and 40% Off LOFT

Happy Monday! How was everyone's weekend? Last night we did a mini Christmas cooking trial with my parents. On Christmas Day, my parents have my entire family over for a prime rib dinner. Well last night my parents realized they had another small prime rib waaaaay in the back of their freezer that needed to be cooked... so we did that last night! It was delicious, however I need to hit the gym a few times this week! Ha!

Many stores came out with new inventory this morning, and there's one sale in particular that I think is really good. LOFT is still doing their 40% off sale with code WORKIT. I love this blouse with the peplum detail and I definitely think I'll be heading in store to check out all their new arrivals too. I've never done a try-on session for insta-stories, but I might start doing those. What do you think? Are they helpful? Or just annoying?

Friday Deals - Nordstrom 40% Fall Inventory

TGIF Friends! With everything going on this week - elections, snowy conditions - it kinda felt like we'd never make it to Friday! What are all your plans this weekend? We don't have much going on - I'm hoping to get some Christmas decorations up and maybe even help my mom with her tree! 

Nordstrom is taking 40% off their fall inventory, so I rounded up a few items that I'm loving. Lots of their sweaters and boots are on sale. I especially love these boots. They're a little bit of a splurge, but they're 40% off and would be a good staple iten. I personally own a few items of this brand and the quality is impeccable. They last a few seasons at least.

Thursday Deals: Winter Coats for Under $150

It's sooo cold here today. We're supposed to get snow later this afternoon and it just seems too soon for that! Since it's freezing, I thought this would be a good time to check out some coats and jackets that would be a nice addition to any winter wardrobe. Most of these are under $100 (score!). I'm especially loving the patterned options, like this oversized herringbone coat and this plaid look.

Wednesday Deals

Any one else exhausted from watching election results last night?! It was "too close to call" for our Governor's race until about midnight last night so I stayed up to see who won. Regardless of the outcomes, I love the passion and excitement around election time - seeing so many people vote for people and causes they believe in is inspiring and exciting! 

Ok on to today's deals! I'm noticing a lot of you are favoring cozy sweaters so I put a few more in today's lineup, and there's quite a few that are a great value. I've never seen sweaters from this retailer at such a steal. I love this retailer because their quality is hard to beat and their sweaters make great gifts for the holidays. This sweater is at a great price point, would be a fabulous work staple and comes in 8 different colors.

Also this sweater I just recently purchased and got it in the mail yesterday! The material is so soft.... it feels like butter! Maybe i'll try it on tonight for my Instagram stories. Definitely recommend, and it's only $14.99!
