Monday Deals - New Inventory and 40% Off LOFT
Happy Monday! How was everyone's weekend? Last night we did a mini Christmas cooking trial with my parents. On Christmas Day, my parents have my entire family over for a prime rib dinner. Well last night my parents realized they had another small prime rib waaaaay in the back of their freezer that needed to be cooked... so we did that last night! It was delicious, however I need to hit the gym a few times this week! Ha!
Many stores came out with new inventory this morning, and there's one sale in particular that I think is really good. LOFT is still doing their 40% off sale with code WORKIT. I love this blouse with the peplum detail and I definitely think I'll be heading in store to check out all their new arrivals too. I've never done a try-on session for insta-stories, but I might start doing those. What do you think? Are they helpful? Or just annoying?
I hope you all have a wonderful start to your week. Take care and see you tomorrow!

Instagram Updates | @libby_glaser
I haven't done an Instagram update in awhile so I thought I'd share all that's been happening over here! As you all know I'm on the last day of my "stay-cation" before the weekend starts, and let me tell you, this week has been kinda amazing! I've never drank so many lattes, taken so many drives around the lake, and worked so hard on my editorial calendar for new blog posts!
Yesterday's outfit [see post here]
Still obsessed with the Tory Burch Robinson Double Zip...
So I tried the Toasted Graham Latte from Starbucks on Monday... and I was pleasantly surprised! Not nearly as sugary as the #psl, which personally I like. The only negative is that it was way over $5 for a grande, so not an everyday purchase in my opinion.
A new outfit coming to the blog next week! I'm obsessed with this flannel plaid shirtdress.
Some of my favorite versatile pieces [see post here]
I'm currently working on a gallery wall for my apartment, so a Hobby Lobby trip was a must! They have some of the cutest wall art and frames and their prices are waaaaaay cheaper than all the online warehouse stores!
On Wednesday night I went to a local brewery with friends and they had - wait for it - a PUMPKIN PIE ALE. [#basic] Not going to lie, it was delicious and after a #psl that afternoon I basically ODed on pumpkin but it was the tastiest brew I've ever had!
From earlier this week [see post here]
Another look from one of my favorite outfits on Stylin' Iowan + tips to make your legs look long and lean! [see post here]
Have a great weekend! See you all on Monday :)

Flannels for Fall & Instagram...
Flannel: old, similar here (under $20) and here (under $100) | T-shirt: Halogen | Denim: Articles of Society (only $54!) | Pumps: BCBG (no longer available), very similar under $100 | Bag: Tory Burch, similar under $60 here | Sunnies: Ray-Ban | Earrings: Nordstrom (only $10!) | Necklace: Kate Spade | Watch: Michael Kors | Bracelets: J.Crew Factory, Alex and Ani | Ring: Madewell | Lipstick: MAC - Creme Cup | iPhone Case: Kate Spade
It's not even 7am and I've already had quite the morning... let's just say I showed up at the gym for my 5:45 spin class only to find out the class was cancelled for the week until after Labor Day! I'm not gonna lie, I was a little excited about it because it gave me time to run home, make a pot of coffee and get a blog post done. Not bad for making the best out of the most annoying of circumstances! :) Now that we are a day away from September, flannels are my casual go-to for more warmth. I love a good cardigan, but there are so many adorable flannels out with a lot of color options and not just your typical fall colors. Mine is old, however Forever 21 has a ton of cute affordable options, and J.Crew has some investment-worthy options that I'm craving too.
I also want to comment on these distressed jeans... holy cow they are amazing! These are my first real pair of distressed denim, and they aren't ripping or tearing like I thought they might (given the super budget friendly price tag - $54!). I'm a little obsessed and they are my weekend favorite right now. For sizing, I got a 28 and they are true to size once you break them in a little, just don't dry them!
In the next week or so I'll be doing an awesome giveaway on Instagram, so be sure to follow me @libby_glaser... just a heads up ;)

Excuse me while I do a happy dance because my laptop is finally back in my possession!!!!!
You're probably wondering how I lost it, and no I didn't lose it myself but TSA did and I'm thrilled to have it back because I thought for sure it was a goner. So if you've been following me on Instagram you know that I've been traveling for work the last few days. When I was packing for the trip, I decided my Tory Burch tote was large enough to carry all my necessities and that I wouldn't need a carry on if I put my laptop in my checked bag. Well somehow during my layover and connecting flight my luggage got misplaced in the Chicago airport :( I arrived in Dayton, OH with literally nothing besides the clothes on my back, my purse and a half empty bag of almonds :/ This has never happened to me before, and I was traveling alone, so you can imagine I was a little frazzled! I went to baggage claim and they had no idea where it was but knew it was somewhere in Chicago, and I was told it would make it on the next flight. Well I think it took a little more searching than that because my luggage didn't make it to my hotel until 6pm the next day and by that time all my meetings were over so I didn't even need it anymore! Long story short, I'm never putting my laptop in my luggage again just in case my luggage does get lost! I think the only good thing about it was that I had a legitimate excuse to raid Target for new work dresses and pajamas! :)
Ok on to the outfit... this J.Crew dress is not only comfortable and cute, but it's so different than any other shift dress I've owned. I love the extended sleeve that's a different pattern and texture than the rest of the dress - it definitely helps make the dress interesting and stand out from the rest. Also the angled zippers on the front...yes. They add just the right amount of edge to such a classy shape of dress. PS it's on SALE!! For sizing, it does run BIG. I ordered a small and it's almost too big on my size 6 frame.
Have a fabulous Thursday! Thanks for reading.

Happy Monday! When it comes to office wear, I've been kind of in a slump lately... my office dress code is business casual, so I have a little more room to be creative, but for some reason I still wear a lot of black, which I'm sooooo over. Now that spring is hopefully on its way, I'm ready to step-up my office dress with more floral prints and bright hues! Whether your choice of print be floral, geometric, animal, etc., the larger the print, the better! My floral pants from Target have multiple colors in them, however there's still a lot of navy blue behind the print to balance everything out. Add a neutral top and a pop of color with your bag or outerwear, and you have a stylish but professional look!
Are you following along on Instagram? Thanks for reading! Have a great day!

Bright White + A Giveaway!
Top: similar & similar | Denim: 7FAM | Boots: White House Black Market (under $80!) | Sunnies: House of Harlow | Earrings: J.Crew Factory, similar | Watch: Michael Kors | Bracelets: Mindy Mae's Market, kate spade | Bag: J.Crew, similar | Lipstick: MAC - Creme Cup
There is something so classic about a black and white look. Whenever I wear this color combination, I feel confident that I'm making a sophisticated statement. What I love about a black and white look is that you can easily add in fun statement pieces or patterned accents, like my leopard bag, to spice up your look. You see, I live in a "small" community where my House of Harlow sunglasses would be considered a very trendy piece; in fact, it's common for me to have people in their cars giggling and pointing at my sunglasses while I'm in my car at stoplights (but seriously, this happens almost every time I wear them - and why are people looking into my car??? HA!). It equally cracks me up and creeps me out to be honest, however taking risks and mixing classic with trendy pieces is now something that I've learned to really love about my evolving style. Most of my pieces are, in fact, classics and basics that every girl has in their closets, however it's those fun pieces that are a bit unexpected that I enjoy incorporating into my looks to make myself stand out a little!

Hello 2015...
I was recently featured on Stila's Instagram... it was definitely a "pinch me!" moment!
Lipstick | Sweatshirt | Sunnies | Earrings
I went for a quick run by the lake on a warmer-than-average Saturday morning and the view was picturesque! One of the perks of living by a lake I guess.
I hadn't been to a Sephora in over 3 months so I went ALL OUT over Christmas break!
A fun night out with new friends in Okoboji.
I'm so excited for 2015 and I have big dreams for this year! I have a lot of fun things to be excited about, in my work, in this blog and in friendships. Thank you to all of you who have followed along the last year - I can't wait for the next adventure in 2015 :)
