It was a liiiiiitle windy out, but my new Jack sweater helped keep me cozy and warm! Today is the start of the "University of Okoboji Winter Games" here in NW Iowa. To sum it up in one run-on sentence, Winter Games is an annual weekend event held on the lake (literally on the ice) that includes an array of field games, concerts, social gatherings, a 5K, and of course, plenty of beverages. The weather has been too warm to hold the games on the ice this year, so it won't be the same (according to locals!), but it's my first Winter Games so I'm excited to see what everyone is raving about!
